Working Days

It's me in a building site.

Working Days

I don’t want my holiday valued to be zero. Helping dad working is a part of my responsibility. It has been many years since I’m doing this job. I’m waiting the order from parents to work as I’m not initiative one. Most of the time is during holiday. It is quite a good activity rather than wasting time in home doing zero production.

I was given an opportunity to drive from Bahau to Seremban. It is a practice for me because I had never drive so far and my driving skill is not good and this is the chance for me to earn some experience.
The distance between Bahau and Seremban is quite far away. My speed is normal, but when going uphill, my pedal was totally pulled! However, the van still goes slow.

Finally, we reach the building site. It is a project of constructing a block of laboratory for a secondary school. Besides monitoring workers, sometimes, I also need to do jobs as they’re facing problem or some other matter. Other than that, look into blue print and figure out how those pipes have to connected is part of my job. Of course, my dad will take a look too. But we got another building site in other place too! Working separately and, sometimes, I feel a little bit stress because I’m constructing a laboratory, not doing experiments in a laboratory. Time is counting as unit for money and mistakes will bring to loss.

For sure, my legs are strength enough to endure such for and back, up and down action. That is one of the reason that I like to shopping or even loitering around. Some “hi-tea” time, my dad will brought me to teashop around, and sharing some foods. About 5pm we pack up and back for rest. My dad and I went back by motorcycle. From Senawang (building site) to Seremban 2 took about 20 minutes. Driving car is expensive, and will encounter traffic jam and also not environmental friendly. However, it is quite dangerous when riding motorbike in town.

After having dinner, here come our happy hour. For the first night, we went to Tesco and Jaya Jusco. I just wanna buy things, whatever as long as use money. My result released that day evening, and I got a bad result. Actually, I am emotional. I can’t let it be!
In the 2nd night, we went to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 2 is nice. There got a Casino beside a Bistro. By the way, I’m not even 21 years old. We just pass through that Noble area. In Terminal 1, I was shop for nothing even though on sale. Soon we leave. My dad then after brought me to a Karaoke nearby after a call from his friend. I knew that place is not the same as Green Box we usually go. As I was entering, there are few customers inside accompany by some “PR” I should call them. We sat near the bartender; my dad is a regular customer in my opinion. Those PR were around and bring me uneasy. After finish drinks, we went back and continue the other morning.

Sometimes, I did disgusting job too! I mean it is really disgusting when you have to renew w/c bowl of a toilet. Chisel a hole and dig it until the sanitary pipe is to be seen. Then, make a hole. Still ok for me. But after breaks the pipe, I smell the disgusting of “your” discharges and sometimes I tend to vomit. Even though, the job still needs to go on! I could remember the situation as I write until here~! Not only will this make disgusting, and many more!! Working is a patience practicing.

We have to sacrifice, so that we could earn for our life. My hand is full of muddy and i might hurt by hammer, bleeding and so on.. It is just a tiny and normal stuff as it will happen each time. The most critic is I was trampled on a nail, and it is gone through my shoe. Luckily it didn't hit my foot! That is one of my experience that we have to walk carefully and wear safety shoes! Do not ever save your money by life! Pain? Yes! My job and I have to do it..

I’m appreciate my parent and hopefully, I won’t need to carry on these jobs up to my future…
